Garota - a band originating from Western Pomerania, specifically from Szczecin, combining the aggressiveness of thrash metal with the cold, bleak atmosphere of black metal.
Biography:
The band was formed in 2020 during the pandemic in Szczecin. Its members had previously been active in other Polish metal formations, which can be heard in Garota’s mature, though raw style. The first full-length album Czarne Wizje was released in 2022, and its successor - Z mieczem na gwiazdy… - premiered on January 31, 2025, once again via Godz Ov War Productions. The material for the second album was created at Rest in Chaos Studio and Blood Run Lodge, while mixing and mastering were handled by The Fall (Skrzypłocz Studio).
