Halny is a black metal band from Opole, founded in 2015. Their style combines frosty, raw black metal with elements of Polish folklore, nature, and mountainous landscapes, creating a dense, suffocating atmosphere built on melodic yet cold riffs and expressive vocals.
Biography:
After years of silence, Halny returned to present its own vision of black metal infused with local folklore and the symbolism of nature. The debut album Zawrat was released on March 22, 2024 via Via Nocturna, gaining recognition for its atmosphere and distinctive musical identity. Since then, the band has performed live, including at Klub Dwa Światy in Toruń together with Waśń and Hegemone, as well as at the Metal Mine Festival in Wałbrzych.
